The sortng machines would separate the cranberries that could not bounce from those that could. These machines did their work in the cranberry warehouse. Joseph J. White's machine which he patented  was probably made at Smithville.

Workers would sort the cranberries before they placed them in barrles for shipment in the sorting house.

At Whitesbog pickers collected cranberries in a box called a peck at Whitesbog

The long boxes on the side are for transporting the berries to the Cranberry Warehouse, where the berries that would bounce would be stored until needed.

Upton Station -- the Whitesbog Railroad Connection to the Nation

At Upton Station seasonal workers would arrive from Philadelphia to pick cranberries at Whitesbog and the berries they picked would be shipped to the Nation via the railroad.

The Barrel Factory assembled cranberry containers which were stored in the building perpendicular to it.

The barrel factory and warehouse worked together in the production of cranberries

At one time the side of the barrel factory had a large door through which the assembled barrels were transported to the Barrel Warehouse.

A Ford Model T Truck travels North Whitesbog Road

with barrels of cranberries from the cranberry warehouse and is headed to market. Upton Station just down the road provided access to box cars to ship these berries throughout the United States.
